Alexander the Great dies at Age 32
Just yesterday Alexander the Great died because of malaria. He was 32 years old. He died in Babylon which was one of the city-states he conquered. He lived from 356 B.C. to 323 B.C. He left no heir to his empire which was most of Europe.
Alexander died from Malaria, a common disease that mosquitoes carry. It is believed that he got when he was traveling though Europe conquering city-states and empires. In Babylon he had a very high fever and could not recover. The doctors did everything they could but, he died.
So in the end he lived form 356 B.C. to 323 B.C. he conquered Persia, Egypt, Babylon, and more. Alexander left no heir to his throne, he said whoever was the strongest. So people argued over who was the strongest and his empire crumbled and his empire was never nearly as strong.
